A Star Is Born..!

Mr. Terrence Ling "Pokok Merah"..Our Best Drum Major & Disciplinary Officer..

The individual mentioned above has managed to get himself into the finals of the (i-dunno-what-level) singing competition..! Congratz to our very own band member..May he do well during the finals..Girls,ask me if you want his email or phone number or photo..just kidding..~

Venue to zoom off to : Indoor Stadium, Miri.
Time to be there : 6.30pm.
Cash needed to be in your wallets : RM10.
Reason to be at the venue : SUPPORT TERRENCE..!!

Mr. BDM wants to thank all those who voted for him during the semifinals at Dewan Suarah (6/9/08)..and for those who weren't there but supported him nonetheless..but please, do make an effort to attend the finals..CHMBB family members are always there for each other..

MERDEKA!

Dataran Merdeka..

The CHMBB members are back! After 9 days in KL..The Merdeka Parade was a BLAST! We met so many new friends..We even had jamming sessions with AMC (Perak) & Lok Yuk (Sabah)..! They were our companions at the place we called "home" for 9 days.. Our Beds..

"Home" was the Kampung Sukan Cochraine..or smth like tat..overall,it was oookkk..except the toilets :)

The shopping trips were fun too..but being Chung Hua Miri students..we also went to several educational destinations in KL..even enjoyed a Musical..*Clap clap*

The places we visited were :
- The National Museum
- The National Zoo
-"Ismail - The Last Days" (A Musical at KL Pac)
-Carrefour
-Jaya Jusco
-1 Utama
-Times Square
-KLIA!!
-Petronas Twin Towers (Sky Bridge & Petrosains)

Here, I on behalf of CHMBB would like to thank everyone who played a part in giving us this golden opportunity..Our teachers, Puan Soh & Mr.Chin & Puan Yong & Cik Rita..who have been our mentors and temporary parents throughout the trip..Our Seniors who gratuitously extended helping hands to the band even though they have retired..

And lastly to the CHMBB members..who have worked so hard in KL..the exhausting rehearsals..the 5 hours of sleep we get everyday..the pressure of doing our best to make Sarawak proud..the tears of weary..the endless backaches & body pains..BUT it was all worth it..every single drop of blood that have been shed was worth it..CHMBB has grown stronger..new bonds between members have been formed..the band spirit has been reinforced..the band has grown on every single CHMBB member and it shall never wilt..One Band One Sound..One Heart One Soul..

I guess that shall be enough words for now..I shall now invite the pictures to elaborate everything that went on in KL..Woot! It shall all be online for the world to see!

So..CHMBB members..if you want to upload pictures, pass them to me, Kurt or Benny..Please filter your photos from any impurities..we do not want junk..transfer em' photos into a pendrive or something like tat and then pass it to us..Mayb on Saturday..
